Products: Equities, MM & Fixed Income • Manage the full Trade lifecycle in the live market for a Sydney-based client, handling everything from matching and settlement to client-specific accounting. • Use the CTM (Central Trade Manager) system to match client instructions with broker details—starting with block-level and moving to allocation-level matching. • Identify and sort out mismaches and unmatches between client, custody and broker trade details by reaching out to the concerned teams • Coordinate with brokers, custody and client teams via email—and occasionally through calls—to resolve the trade discrepancies. • Take ownership of the settlement process—if a settlement fails, I investigate, communicate with the necessary parties, and update my manager with the reason. • Actively track same-day trades and follow up with brokers via email to request any missing instructions and discrepancies. • Prioritize same-day trade and settlement cases to ensure timely and error-free processing. • Perform end-of-day fund accounting checks to ensure all trades and funds are accurately accounted; investigate and resolve any breaks or discrepancies.
