I currently work on Amex’s internal communication and event tracking platform—the behind-the-scenes engine that ensures customer notifications (emails, letters, and the occasional digital nudge) get where they need to, when they need to. Think of it as mission control for messages, powered by Vert.x and Apache Kafka.Before Amex, I sharpened my engineering skills at Oracle, building and optimizing the expense management system that helped enterprises stay on top of their reimbursements (and probably saved more than a few coffee receipts from going unnoticed). From feature development to performance tuning and CI/CD wrangling—I had my hands on all of it.Started my journey at Verizon, where I worked on billing systems for small and medium businesses and automated what used to be a pretty tedious manual task—because life’s too short to do the same comparison by hand 100 times.I love writing clean, efficient code, breaking down complex problems, and occasionally naming variables after obscure movie references. Always up for building systems that scale, and coffee chats that don’t.

The system is part of the broader communication framework within Amex and handles email, letter, and other customer notifications.Specifically, I am working and own a service that generates the final state for all customer notifications. It\'s developed using Vert.x framework and uses almighty Apache Kafka to consume and produce records.
