ABOUT SAKSHI BALWANI

I am presently employed as a Senior Medical Writer with BioQuest Solutions, Bengaluru, India. Previous to this, I worked for Turacoz Healthcare Solutions, a medical communications company located in Gurugram, India. In my current role, I am required to draft, edit, and review several type of articles as plagiarism-free professional grade documents to various clients. I am detail-oriented and thorough in my work. My concise and clear writing enabled acceptance of few manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Previous to this, I have had rich experience working as a freelance medical writer on diverse documents for multiple clients.About my education background, I hold a doctorate degree (PhD) in biotechnology, masters in biotechnology and bachelors in biochemistry from reputed universities in India. Prior to PhD and after masters, I was employed for over 4 years at R&D based-pharmaceutical companies-Ranbaxy Research Laboratories and Dr. Reddy’s Research Foundation. During my tenure, I worked on a number of drug targets associated with inflammatory, musculoskeletal and metabolic diseases. Having worked in premier research institutes as well as pharmaceutical industry, I\'ve been able to acquire a great amount of knowledge and technical expertise in multiple therapeutic areas of biomedical research with a demonstrated publication record in reputed international journals. Most importantly, with over 15 years of research experience in industry and academia, I have developed the ability to work efficiently in a team as well as handling projects independently. My understanding of interdisciplinary science also gives me a unique ability to interact and collaborate effectively with researchers from different fields. I feel my educational qualifications, research experience and writing skills would be an asset to the organization.
