As the Convenor of SCLHR, I led one of the most active and intellectually driven student-led societies at the School of Law, UPES, committed to deepening engagement with constitutional law, public policy, and human rights. In this capacity, I oversaw the strategic planning and execution of the society’s initiatives, ensuring alignment with contemporary legal developments and student interests.I was responsible for designing the academic calendar, supervising the work of all sub-committees including Research, Editorial, Debate & Discussion, Outreach, and Content and mentoring members to meet our collective objectives. I guided the team in organizing panel discussions, expert lectures, legal writing competitions, and policy dialogues that brought together students, scholars, and practitioners.Additionally, I served as the primary point of contact with faculty advisors and external stakeholders, including judges, senior advocates, and civil society experts, to facilitate collaborations and enhance the reach and impact of our events. I also reviewed research output, ensured timely execution of projects, and worked to create an environment that fostered academic curiosity and collaboration.This role helped me grow as a leader and sharpened my ability to manage teams, ideate and implement impactful academic initiatives, and contribute meaningfully to the discourse on constitutional and human rights law in India.
