ABOUT SAKSHAM VERMA

I am a Chartered Accountant and have completed MBA from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi. I am currently working as a Manager with the Dispute and Litigation Advisory team of Deloitte India. I have worked with and led teams to prepare Independent Expert Reports on quantification of claims submitted by the Parties concerned. The matters involve various scenarios such as revenue loss, loss of profit scenario, loss of business valuation, quantification of delays in construction/ IT contracts etc. The computations involve applying a mix of finance, valuation, accounting and economic analyses. Previous experience and summer internship stint: CRG department in the Regional Investment Banking team in J.P. Morgan Chase. Worked with JP Morgan\'s Centralised Research Group as part of the Regional Investment Banking team serving middle market companies in North America, preparing marketing decks, CIMs, and related materials for deals and potential deals done through JP Morgan. Articleship: Extensive involvement in the execution of limited reviews and statutory audits of listed companies as well as private limited companies such as DCM Shriram Ltd, ITC Ltd, MetLife Global Operations Support Center Pvt Ltd, Simbhaoli Sugars Ltd, Parsons Brinkerhoff Pvt Ltd.(diversified, ITES, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Engineering consultancy services industries); Supervised finance and commercial aspects of a retail startup. Experience- Damages, valuation, expert witness, arbitration, mediation, valuation, financial analysis, proposal preparation, report writing, article writing, marketing materials. When I am not working, I like to play badminton, listen to rock and work on my fitness.
