Ever since I began my academic journey, I\'ve been fascinated by the patterns hidden within data and the logic that powers technology. This curiosity led me to pursue a Master of Science in Mathematics from IIT Ropar, where I dove deep into the worlds of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Financial Mathematics.During my time at IIT, I wasn’t just solving equations—I was uncovering insights. I worked on projects that predicted customer churn, analyzed stock price trends, and explored option pricing models, all while gaining hands-on experience with algorithms like Naive Bayes, Random Forest, SVM, ANN, CNN, and RNN. Each project added a new dimension to my understanding, blending theory with application.After graduation, my journey took a turn toward the finance sector, where I joined Meetingselect as part of the Finance team. Here, I moved beyond the classroom and into real-world systems, managing invoice analysis using Microsoft Business Central. My role focused on ensuring payment accuracy, optimizing commission structures, and automating invoicing processes. I took pride in reducing manual errors and improving operational efficiency while collaborating closely with other departments to maintain clean, consistent data.But my curiosity didn’t stop at financial systems. The more I automated, the more I saw the power and beauty of software systems in driving scalable change. That realization became a turning point—I knew I wanted to transition into software development. With my solid background in data science and an analytical mindset honed through mathematics, I began preparing to build systems, not just study them.I carry with me a unique blend of technical depth, business context, and a hunger for innovation.    In my current role at Meetingselect, I am responsible for managing and analyzing invoices within Business Central. My primary tasks include ensuring the accuracy of invoices by validating amounts and commissions, guaranteeing that all payments are processed smoothly and correctly. I systematically review invoices to confirm that the correct amounts are paid and that commission structures are appropriately followed.To optimize workflow, I categorize invoices using the appropriate templates, ensuring consistency and reducing manual errors. By standardizing the invoice process, I help streamline operations, making the invoicing process more efficient and less prone to mistakes. Additionally, I focus on automating the flow of invoices, minimizing the need for manual intervention and reducing the risk of errors. This involves setting up automated checks and workflows to ensure all invoices are properly categorized and aligned with company policies before final processing.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, I work to improve data integrity and ensure seamless communication between various departments. Through these efforts, I contribute to the overall enhancement of invoicing operations, enabling faster processing times, improved accuracy, and a more efficient payment cycle. My objective is to implement solutions that drive operational excellence and support the company’s financial health.
