Responsible for running the Insurance Division which generates over 75% of our income within the UK. The Division consists of a Corporate and Commercial book spanning a wide range of industry sectors, as well as Affinity and Schemes, Trade Credit, Risk Managed and Private Clients businesses. Key responsibilities include:• Working alongside the CEO and the other UK Board Members to develop and execute business strategies to achieve the goals of the board and shareholders• Managing, leading and coaching the Insurance Leadership team • Working with each Business Head to develop and deliver annual business plans for all of the business areas within the Division to increase profitable growth and improve cost-efficiency• Providing strategic advice to the CEO so that we will have an accurate view of the market and the company’s future• Maintaining positive and trust-based relations with clients, prospects, business partners, shareholders, and authorities.• Overseeing the company\'s business operations and financial performance.• Ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated and adhered to• Building and enhancing the company\'s public profile externally• Maintaining the personality of the business through being a role model when it comes to our values and behaviours• Proactively seek acquisition opportunity whether it be companies, teams or highly talented individuals • Supporting the markets team with relationship with key insurer partners• Help develop the brand and tell the Verlingue story• Working closely with the CEO and other UK Board Members to enhance our customer propositions, accelerate growth and drive efficiencies.
