  1. Founding Director

    Greenpack India

    Sep 2018 — Present · Varanasi, IN

Before founding GreenPack, I spent years in the paper and packaging trade, learning the business the hard way — from shop floors to boardrooms. Those early years taught me how products move, what customers value, and where India’s packaging ecosystem was falling short on sustainability. When I saw how much plastic waste was generated by food service packaging every single day, it stopped feeling like just a business problem — it became a personal mission. GreenPack India was born out of a simple but urgent belief — that India’s food packaging industry can grow without harming the planet.Since our inception in 2018, we’ve built one of India’s fastest-growing biodegradable packaging networks, offering a full suite of paper-based tableware and takeaway packaging solutions for QSRs, modern trade, and exports. With a clear focus on scalability, innovation, and sustainability, we’ve grown from a single plant in Varanasi to three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located across Varanasi, Ahmedabad, and Noida.Key Achievements & Milestones Scaled production from 1 to 3 plants across India, ensuring national coverage and reduced logistics costs for clients. Current capacity: Over 50 million pieces per month across paper cups, bowls, lids, containers, and food boxes.🤝 Trusted by leading QSRs and brands: including Café Coffee Day (CCD), Tea Post and Chai Sutta Bar. Reduced over tons of single-use plastic annually by replacing it with eco-friendly paper-based alternatives. Adopted automation and low-MOQ customization to enable brand-specific solutions for startups and mid-size chains. Backward integration: Manufacturing our own coated paper sheets and raw materials for enhanced cost control and consistency. We’re now focused on export expansion, product diversification, and deeper automation to make sustainable packaging more accessible and affordable — at scale.
