Global 4G/IoT Data path and UL PHY lead. Seeding member of 4G/IoT L2 team in India and leading global 4G/IoT L2 and Physical Channel UL Teams in Qualcomm.Involved in designing and implementing multiple features from RLC/PDCP/MAC/UL PHY layer and HW drivers across different LTE releases. Extensively optimized memory and overall stack performance to support higher throughput in 4G/5G without much impact in memory and power. Given that LTE/NR inherently does not have any AS flow control features, I also designed various flow control features which can help UE sustain higher throughput amid limited memory/CPU and other resources. Front-ended entire CDRX state machine and optimized over a period of time to improve battery performance.Front-end developer on 5G/4G NSA mode. Good understanding of 5G-MAC/RLC/PDCP protocol stack. Was involved in the initial design discussion of 5G-L2 stack based on past experiences in LTE. Have been leading all NSA features thus showcasing my extensive involvement in both 4G/5G protocol stack.Completely driving the Data path for CATM and NB-IoT devices. Designed and implemented multiple standard and other features from RLC/PDCP/MAC for IoT. Given that IoT devices must be very cost efficient and less power hungry, we extensively optimized memory and overall stack performance to support higher battery life.8Very good understanding of end to end Data Path right from Physical layer all the way upto TCP layer. Pretty much hands on with multiple features across 4G/5G/IoT.
