Design to Cost proposal by undertaking should be costing for all passives and active, Bare PCB’s and assembly PCB’s. For the pilot lot we will try to get most of electronic component active and passive through FOC basis from supplier. Driving cost reduction from RFQ to PPAP stage and achieving RMC value within 65% for better product costing Analyzing EBOM during RFQ stage to implement right source at first time and suggest alternate for cost reduction purpose in the initial stage itself. Identifying and developing a dedicated and dual vendor source for achieving cost effectivepurchase of raw material and to avoid delay in product manufacturing. Approaching newly added suppliers to get the company details, providing them with the Routing guide instructions, INCOTERMS to follow while shipping. Year on year volume benefit cost reduction to improve the profitability. Conversion of PR to PO. Ordering the right materials. PO Creation and Modifications in SAP Tool based on the production date. Managing delivery date with the vendor and tracking Shipment details as received from theVendor. Providing Clearance to warehousing team once Material is inbound/Received. Initiating Kitting process for the received material for production. Realization of material cost reduction through VA/VE for both standard & non-standard bybenchmarking the competitor’s product. Inventory analysis for every quarterly and share effective plan for inventory reduction. Identifying innovative technology and new electronic components as an alternative for existing which lead to cost reduction.
