ABOUT SAJITH JACOB
I am a Health Information Management student at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). My academic and hands-on experiences, including clinical shadowing at UI Health and UChicago AdventHealth, have deepened my understanding of healthcare systems, patient care, and the use of EHR systems like EPIC. I’ve also gained valuable skills in teaching and mentoring through tutoring 100+ students in integral STEM classes, helping them achieve their academic goals. My career goal is to combine my knowledge of healthcare and technology to contribute to better patient outcomes and efficient care delivery. I am seeking internships and healthcare or health information management opportunities to develop my skills further and make a meaningful impact.
