ABOUT SAJAN JAISWAL
Sajan is an aspiring social worker with a focus on welfare-oriented practice in health, disability, occupational and community settings. He is currently completing his final semester of MSW, with field training at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, where his work spans both institutional and community contexts, with emphasis on psychosocial support, rights, and access to services.His experience includes community-based welfare work with KIRAN Society, supporting persons with disabilities and their families, and public awareness initiatives with the MOHAN Foundation on organ donation and ethical health practices. His journey began with Make-A-Wish Foundation of India, where he worked closely with children facing critical illness and their families, focusing on emotional support, coordination, and dignity-centred care.Alongside fieldwork, he uses data and digital tools for documentation, reporting, and program support. With a background in Computer Applications and training in Data Science, he is interested in strengthening social welfare interventions through evidence-informed planning and accountability.He is currently seeking full-time roles in social welfare, health, or allied development sectors where he can contribute at the grassroots and systems level, learn through practice, and grow as a professional.
