ABOUT SAINA SEHATKAR
I pursued my PhD in Health Policy & Management at McMaster University, where I conducted large-scale empirical research using multi-million-record datasets to improve older adults\' transitions within continuing care systems. My research lies at the intersection of data science, health systems, and health policy. With a background in IT engineering and strong analytical skills in R, Python, and SPSS, I develop statistical models and perform longitudinal data analysis to inform strategic, evidence-based decision-making in healthcare. In parallel with my research, I serve as a sessional instructor for graduate-level courses in health economics and population health. I enjoy bridging the gap between analytics and real-world impact through teaching and applied research. Always open to collaborations in health services research, policy evaluation, and healthcare data analytics.
