ABOUT SAILAJA KUCHIBHATLA

I recently graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Master\'s of Science degree in Data Science. I also received my Bachelor\'s of Science degree in Computer Science and a Minor in Applied Mathematics at NJIT. I worked as a full-time Systems/Software Developer at Prudential Financial for the past year. In my previous internships/work, I was involved in designing, developing and debugging a web application at my internship, where I learned to work in an agile environment, communicate with business executives, and develop a coded solution to the problem at hand. I was able to strengthen my leadership skills as Scrum Master and develop business skills as I had to learn the business before working towards the solution. In my free time, I love to volunteer around New Jersey where I filled food packages for seniors at the Community FoodBank of NJ, made and delivered PB & J sandwiches to the homeless at Newark Penn Station and fund-raised on campus to donate to various cancer/children\'s health organizations. Each volunteer experience has made an impact as I learned about the backgrounds of diverse individuals, experiencing what it would be like in someone else\'s shoes. Outside of volunteering, I enjoy dancing, calligraphy and craft-making. Learning different forms of art allows me to put a creative spin on the solution for any problem. At the end of the day, I am a creative hard-worker who is always ready to learn and communicate with others.
