Saikat Dey is a business executive, entrepreneur, and former management consultant with a proven record of building, scaling, and leading operationally complex businesses in regulated industries including enterprise technology and industrials. As a seasoned operator, Saikat has spearheaded multiple companies and ventures through zero-to-one, high-growth, and turnaround environments. To date, these efforts have resulted in a successful acquisition (Severstal North America) and 10x revenue growth over 5 years for a new venture (Aatmunn)Currently, he leads the Dehumidification. DOAS and Energy Recovery Groups at Madison Air – one of the world’s largest privately held HVAC companies – with ownership of P&L, production operations, and growth strategy for a portfolio of nine businesses. Career history: Aatmunn Inc: Founded an award-winning safety and productivity start-up that has grown to 40+ countries with customers including Amazon, 3M, SpaceX, and ExxonMobil. Since its product launch in 2019, revenue has grown 10x with the team expanding to 70 people globally. Severstal: Instated as CEO of the North America division of Severstal (fourth-largest steelmaker at the time) and expanded EBITDA by 6x on a $4.5 billion business before leading a successful sale to two strategics. McKinsey & Co: Management consultant for global commodities companies with operations in paper & pulp, upstream and downstream O&G, and aluminum production, amongst others. Lived and worked in the US, Netherlands, and UAE.Community and board involvement: Awards: Named in Time Magazine’s 100 Best Inventions of 2020 for Aatmunn’s industry-leading safetytechnology and awarded 12 patents and 3 US trademarks in industrial IOT/AI.
