Working on research focused on scalable graph visualization using multi-level, force-directed algorithms.I am developing methods to visualize very large networks by first computing hierarchical “backbones” of a graph and then embedding the network level-by-level, starting from the top structure and progressively refining the layout. This approach helps both with scalability and with preserving the underlying topology of the network during visualization.Through this project, I am gaining hands-on experience with algorithm design, graph representations, and experimental evaluation of visualization quality for large and complex datasets. This work directly supports my academic interests in data, systems, and analytics and aligns with my plans to pursue graduate study in business analytics and computational systems.
