In this role, I am responsible for day-to-day banking transactions, preparation of monthly TDS and GST reports, assisting with quarterly accounts closing procedures, and preparing interdepartmental transfer vouchers.Prior to my current role, I worked as a Junior Accounting Assistant at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, where I maintained a fixed assets register, prepared bank reconciliation statements, and prepared budget and balance sheet working.Before that, I worked as an Assistant Financial Analyst at SNCO LLP, an internal control, accounting, and taxation solutions entity. At SNCO, I was responsible for e-filing and e-payment of GST returns, preparing ESI, EPF, and TDS working and online returns, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports of clients, and preparing stock reports. Additionally, I handled internal control of clients, prepared export documents, and reconciled inter-branch and bank accounts.I started my career as an Accounts Assistant (part-time) at Biju Associates - Tax Practitioners, where I was a member of the accounting team engaged in writing up, finalization, and computerization of accounts for various clients.I hold a Professional Nomenclature CMA (ICWA) Intermediate degree from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, which I obtained in February 2019 with 60%.
