As a Software Engineer in the Logistics department, I work on designing, developing, and deploying Spring Boot microservices that support vehicle shipping and tracking operations. My responsibilities span the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and include:Backend Development: Building event-driven microservices using Spring Boot, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, Axon Server, and PostgreSQL.CI/CD & Infrastructure:For CASS (OpenShift) applications:Writing and configuring Kubernetes YAML files, including pod scaling (replicas) for high availability.Integrating observability tools like Filebeat, Logstash, Kibana, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Dynatrace.Managing Jenkins pipelines and setting up GitHub webhooks to automate build and deployment workflows.For GCP-based applications:Setting up and maintaining Tekton pipelines (YAML and JSON).Adding secure authentication containers to enable access to GCP resources such as PostgreSQL.Managing and integrating Terraform-based infrastructure as part of deployments.API Management & Security:Prior to exposing APIs via Apigee, I conduct a full OpenAPI (Swagger) JSON-based security scan using 42Crunch.Identifying and resolving all vulnerabilities and compliance issues in the OpenAPI specs before publishing.DevSecOps Compliance:Addressing and resolving all FOSSA and Cycode issues related to open-source licensing and code security.Ensuring these checks are enforced within the CI/CD pipeline configuration files.Deployment & Testing:Deploying to development environments using OpenShift (oc commands), and promoting builds across Dev, QA, and Prod branches.Performing local testing using Docker and Podman for containerized environments.
