About Saideep Kandula
Experienced in developing software and algorithms for driver assistance features based on a camera sensor. Successfully developed an Automatic Emergency Braking feature, tailored to meet customer requirements and stringent safety standards, which was deployed in production across thousands of vehicles. Currently, I am leading a team of algorithm developers working on various features like object and scene interpretations, also assisting them at various phases of the product development cycle like design, integration, debugging, and vehicle validation. I facilitate effective communication and collaboration among various teams and also collaborate with program managers and developers to establish priorities and release plans. I firmly believe in autonomous vehicles and their potential to revolutionize transportation by enhancing safety and reliability. My passion lies in leveraging my skill set to tackle the intricate challenges associated with autonomy, and I find immense satisfaction when I see my designs getting deployed in real-world vehicles.I have implemented algorithms in Matlab/Simulink as well as in C/C++ languages.
