In this role, I will have the opportunity to meet with a Congressional office to advocate for poverty-focused legislation, attend networking and outreach events, speak about volunteer opportunities and civic engagement, help train constituents to call their members of Congress/government representatives, deliver presentations on global poverty and policy advocacy, and much more. Through this experience, I have strengthened my skills in policy advocacy, communication, and civic engagement while working toward meaningful global impact.
