TL;DR I enjoy developing deep tech products to solve crosscutting engineering challenges One of my first uneducated goals, in the first decade of my life, was to build a ‘skyscraper’ and years later, my awesome sisters would continue to share that story that never happened in family gatherings. Soon, I’ve realized I’m good at math + physics and I picked Electrical Engineering (surprisingly, easy to pick because it was hard to learn). Just a bachelor’s degree in EE didn’t cut it, so I opted to learn more through MS in the US. Fast forward 4 years, I’ve published 20+ papers, graduated with EE and Engineering Management degrees. Oh, I also scored a patent on electric motor designs for EVs With the spirit of talent stacking, I’ve picked a challenging role in manufacturing to develop control systems for fiber laser cutting machines – ultimate multi-physics tech that integrates light, optics, motion, gas, metal, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Then, I started developing robotics for ever-growing eCommerce ($$). I got my Green Card in EB1b Outstanding Researcher category along the way. Currently, I’m cruising in this space as an engineering expert and product leader ‍Finally, to achieve something skyscraper-ish, I’ve started my PhD. I wanted to make an impact on society, so I navigated through the transportation ecosystem and started developing a smart tech to connect communities with complete streets – a concept which gives equal share to everybody in our streets. It could save lives! In Aug 2024, I celebrated this incredible achievement with my family When I look back at where I started, I was born in Nandigama – a small town in India with a dream to build a ‘skyscraper’ but pivoted to build something that’s ‘meaningful’. Lesson #34 - Who cares about a skyscraper when we are not safe in streets? 🤔
