ABOUT SAIBA KHAN

Hi, I’m Saiba — a Psychology major at Amity University, Lucknow, with a strong interest in clinical psychology, mental health awareness, and community outreach.While I’m deeply passionate about understanding the human mind, I’ve also always believed that learning shouldn’t be confined to classrooms or labs. That’s why I’ve tried to balance both — working on psychological assessments and mental status exams in clinical internships, and also anchoring events, coordinating dance workshops, and performing on stage.As the Joint Secretary of Amibeats (our university’s cultural club), I’ve had the chance to manage and host events like Independence Day, Republic Day, college ke tashanbaaz in collaboration with Red FM, Time to Shine (orientation week), Amiphoria, and a one-week classical dance workshop in collaboration with Bhatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya. These roles taught me leadership, event planning, communication, and most importantly — how to stay grounded under pressure.I’ve also been part of Social Awareness Programs, volunteered with NGOs, engaged with children in slum communities, and participated in creative outreach efforts that aim to connect psychological theory with real-world impact.Outside academics, I sketch, sing, write poetry, read, and pick up random hobbies like embroidery — mostly because they help me slow down and reconnect with myself.Currently, I’m open to internships, field work, and research opportunities in psychology, especially in clinical and community settings.If you’d like to connect or collaborate, feel free to reach out.
