About Saicharan Ritwik Chinni
I am a final year student at BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus, pursuing a dual major in MSc Mathematics and BE Electronics and Instrumentation. Additionally, I am enrolled in a BS in Data Science and Applications at IIT Madras.My current research includes analyzing India\'s population dynamics using COWIN dashboard data with Dr. Abhishek Pandey (Associate Director, CIDMA, Yale School of Public Health) and modeling dynamics of smoking behavior propagation under Dr. Anupama Sharma (Assistant Professor, BITS Pilani Goa Campus).Previously, I explored 5G and 6G technologies under Dr. Sreejith T.V.(Assistant Professor, IIT Bhilai) during the summer of 2023, focusing on wireless networks and numerical algorithms in Verilog. I also developed a Streamlit-based web application at the National Council for Cement & Building Materials to optimize heat balance in cement plant pyroprocessing units.I am interested in stochastic processes, game theory, and forecasting. Basically anything that combines numbers and strategy. If there’s data to analyze or a system to optimize, I’m probably already hooked.When I’m not knee-deep in equations or code, you’ll find me watching cricket, pondering life’s big questions through philosophical and spiritual literature, or geeking out over historical empires. A generalist with specific obsessions, I’m driven by curiosity and the thrill of connecting dots across disciplines. Suggestions are always welcome. especially if they save me from picking up yet another hobby to chase.
