ABOUT SAI MITHERAN JAGADESH KUMAR

I am currently a part of the Machine Learning team at Latent AI, Inc. after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) with a Master\'s in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in AI/ML systems. During my time at CMU, I worked at the AirLab (Robotics Institute) on large-scale real-world scene understanding for urban robots. My research primarily explores the intersection of computer vision and efficient deep learning.Previously, I contributed to several high-impact projects, including Neural SLAM and generative modeling at the Real Virtual Humans, Max Planck Institute of Informatics, and computer vision applications in biomedical imaging at the National University of Singapore. My experience also extends to industry-oriented applications where I developed ML solutions for diverse fields such as CAD, wireless communications, UAVs, and radar technologies. Notably, I was a key team member at AI Monk Labs, where I helped develop neuralmarker.ai, a platform for annotating image and video datasets using advanced ML techniques.Earlier in my career, I participated in building India\'s first RISC-V Processor at the RISE Lab, IIT Madras, under the guidance of Dr. V. Kamakoti, and contributed to automating production pipelines at Foxconn Technologies for major brands like Nokia and Apple.I like to think about problems at the beautiful confluence of ML and computer vision, focusing on edge AI solutions. While I\'m not contemplating crafting the right questions to delve deeper into research, I\'m open to anything to do with sustainability and mental health.
