ABOUT SAI KAMALA SOUMYA BOMMULURI

I’m a third-year Chemical Engineering undergraduate at IIT Tirupati, passionate about solving real-world problems at the intersection of technology, strategy, and innovation. My journey spans core research, industry exposure, and business-oriented leadership roles. Currently, I’m interning at DRDL, Hyderabad (DRDO), where I’m gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge defence research and technology development, further deepening my interest in applied engineering and national impact projects. What drives me? A curiosity to learn, a bias for action, and a desire to create scalable, meaningful change. As Co-founder and Executive Advisor of FMC Nexus, I helped launch a student-run platform focused on Finance, Marketing, and Consultancy. From building strategy to mentoring teams and driving collaborations, I’ve enjoyed translating abstract ideas into tangible outcomes. I\'ve also interned at Anthem Biosciences and BPCL, gaining exposure to chemical synthesis, fermentation, quality control, and large-scale refinery operations. Whether it’s research, strategy, or execution—I thrive where interdisciplinary thinking and problem-solving come together.
