ABOUT SAI K.
My journey to public service began when I interned at the White House in the summer of 2011. While an engineering major at the time, I set my eyes on law and policy. I bridged my engineering background and law by quickly becoming admitted to the patent bar. While relying on this background, I also pursued immigration, international, and national security law, all with the goal of serving the public. In law school, I made sure my experience reflected this as I interned and externed with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). After law school, I joined the National Security Agency’s Honors Program, where I rotated between the Litigation and Administrative Law & Ethics departments. I currently serve as an Assistant General Counsel in the Technology Law Division with the General Services Administration, which manages and supports the basic functioning of federal agencies; this includes managing government real estate, providing procurement support, and developing government-wide policies.
