   As an Area Operations Manager in Amazon’s Inbound RPND department, I lead daily execution of receive and prep operations aligned with vendor compliance, cost efficiency, and cross-network fulfillment. My role directly supports Amazon’s goal of delivering inventory to the right place, at the right time, and in the right condition. Supervise prep processes in accordance with vendor-specific guidelines, ensuring item readiness before transferring to downstream functions. Plan shift-level operations based on forecasted inbound volume, aligning headcount to task type to maintain target CPLH (Cost Per Labor Hour). Oversee sorting and routing of inventory to the appropriate Fulfillment Centers (FCs) across the Amazon network, minimizing delays and misroutes. Monitor and report KPIs including Units Per Hour (UPH), Dock-to-Stock, Prep Accuracy, and Receive SLA compliance. Collaborate with NEO (Network Execution Operations) and upstream partners to ensure capacity alignment and node-level flow accuracy. Conduct Gemba walks, lead root cause investigations, and apply Lean tools to drive continuous improvement and reduce operational waste. Coach and develop a team of Process Assistants and Associates, promoting a culture of safety, ownership, and operational excellence.
