I am a motivated and skilled graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University, with a passion for sustainability and optimization. My educational background, which also includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering from Anna University, has provided me with a solid foundation in Python, SQL, data analytics, and machine learning, as well as software tools such as Tableau, MS Excel, and Solidworks.In addition to my academic achievements, I have gained valuable industry experience as an Industrial Engineering Co-Op at Cummins Inc, where I have applied the principles of Six Sigma and DMAIC to improve the efficiency of the X-15 Engine Assembly line by 25%. I have also designed an automated conveyor system that reduced the cycle time by 20 seconds and improved ergonomics in the work station. Furthermore, I have demonstrated my ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze and interpret data, and communicate findings through reports and presentations. Previously, I have also contributed to the automation and functionality of production scheduling and supply chain systems at Valeo and Renault Nissan Automotive, resulting in increased productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.As a graduate student, I am eager to seek new challenges and opportunities to apply my expertise and experience to real-world problems. I am interested in exploring the potential of smart manufacturing strategies, such as process automation and AI-enabled systems, to enhance the performance and sustainability of industrial operations.
