   My main responsibilities include providing Production Support for the Snowflake instance, and helping drive initiatives for further rationalization, standardization and automation of the processes and services of the cloud data lake.• Mainly encompass both troubleshooting/support of the platform in its current state and in identifying, formulating, and implementing strategic solutions to prevent recurring issues and increase automation and efficiency.• Work on Snowflake architecture concepts - Cloud Services, Virtual Warehouse, Storage with a particular emphasis on roles and grants and Perform administration of Snowflake instance - debug, conduct root cause analysis, diagnose defects.• Actively participate in data lake/data platform automation, feature enhancement, Data analysis, Database programming (Stored procedures; Triggers, Views), Table Partitioning, performance tuning in Snowflake.• Identify objects (Warehouses, Schemas, Tables, Snow pipe) that are using more credits and work with the respective teams to optimize and reduce the credits usage for reducing the cost spent on storage and compute. • Involved in Data manipulation using python, Sql for extraction, cleaning and loading data with python libraries such as NumPy, SciPy and Pandas for data analysis and numerical computations.• Bild Dashboards in Tableau that shows credits spent by each cost group (Warehouse compute,Snowpipe compute,Clustring compute, compute for search optimization and storage cost) by our snowflake account to perform analysis and reduce the cost.
