I’m a CEH-certified B.Tech Computer Science student at Sandip University with a clear goal — to build my career in Cybersecurity, specifically in Security Operations.What attracts me most to this field is the defensive side of security — monitoring systems, analyzing logs, identifying unusual behavior, and understanding how attacks are detected before they cause damage. I’m especially interested in how SOC teams work behind the scenes to keep organizations secure.During my internship at Academor, I worked on practical cybersecurity tasks that involved understanding vulnerabilities, applying basic penetration testing concepts, and analyzing potential security risks. That experience helped me move beyond theory and start thinking like a security analyst.I also completed a certified Ethical Hacking workshop at IIT Bombay, which strengthened my foundation in risk assessment and attack methodologies — and made me even more certain that security is the domain I want to grow in.Right now, I’m actively focusing on:• SIEM concepts and event correlation • Log analysis and alert investigation • Threat detection fundamentals • Linux system monitoring • Network traffic analysis • Incident response basics I don’t just want to learn tools.I want to understand how security decisions are made, how alerts are prioritized, and how real incidents are handled in production environments.My goal is to begin my career as a SOC Analyst, contribute to real monitoring teams, and steadily grow into a highly capable security professional.If you’re working in cybersecurity or building security teams, I’m always open to learning conversations and meaningful opportunities.
