Led the design and implementation of Shared Virtual Disk Persistent Reservations Telemetry in C++ in the XDirect Control Plane, emitting SCSI PR metadata periodically into a Kusto table for downstream analysis. Built an Event Tracing for Windows-based pipeline to capture PR events from the Metadata Server (MDS), enriching each record with tenant, disk, and reservation context for full observability.Deployed a local VM cluster simulation harness to simulate Distributed System and validate PR configurations and edge cases; automated test scripts with PowerShell and Azure CLI.Implemented Kusto Queries and Azure Data Explorer dashboards featuring multi-line time-series and filter controls. Authored a comprehensive design document covering Background, Scope, Success Metrics, High-Level/Low-Level Design, Testing, and Results; presented findings to the Storage Engineering team.
