About Sahil Bhatnagar
Sahil is an ML specialist and has worked across domains including e-commerce, insure-tech, life sciences, and productivity. He started his career as a Python Developer whereby he was responsible to develop core features as code which is scalable, reusable and robust. After a year, he developed an interest in machine learning and strove to hone the skill. His last project was about creating a mobile device diagnostic service whereby an ML model would determine in real time whether a mobile device is damaged or not from its image, based on which the owner of the device would be deemed eligible or ineligible to buy insurance for the device. His greatest achievement has been that he improved the recall rate of the model from 68% to 85% in a matter of 3 months.He is a Computer Science graduate and currently pursuing PGDM degree in business from MDI, Gurgaon.In his summer internship at Walmart Global Tech, India, he was primarily responsible to improve customer experience for Walmart customers in South Africa.In leisure time, he reads self-help books, cooks fusion cuisines, and plays guitar.
