About Sahil Vatsi
During my academic journey, I had the privilege to hold leadership roles and contribute significantly to various initiatives- As a Captain for one year during my undergraduate studies, I provided direction and guidance to my college peers, fostering teamwork and unity- During my Master\'s program, I dedicated two years to the university chess team, achieving notable success as a title winner twice and securing the runner-up position once. These experiences honed my strategic thinking and resilience- Recognizing the need for technological innovation, I founded the AI Robotics Club at SPU Mandi University, where I served as President for a year. Leading this initiative allowed me to nurture a community passionate about cutting-edge technologies and foster collaborative projects. I successfully developed an indoor navigation system for both the university and a local medical hospital, streamlining navigation for students and patients alike- Additionally, I enriched my professional experience as a Project Engineer at Himsaur Pvt Ltd. From August 2022 to the present, I have been instrumental in driving project success and delivering quality outcomes- In January 2024, I was selected as the Internship or Project Head, collaborating with an esteemed professor from IIT Mandi. Under his mentorship, I spearheaded the development of a Smart Indoor Navigation System, a project that culminated in a published paper. This experience not only expanded my technical expertise but also showcased my ability to thrive in research-oriented environments.Furthermore, I spearheaded fundraising efforts for the AI Robotics Club, raising to support the club\'s development and activities.These experiences have shaped me into a versatile and driven individual, ready to contribute effectively to new challenges and endeavors.
