Worked as Deputy Manager in Engine Design in Mahindra and Mahindra, Swaraj R&D taking care of design of diesel engine components and systems including crankcase, cylinder block, oil cooler, valve train system optimization, crankshaft balancing calculations, cost reduction projects and design calculations. Trained in Mahindra Yellow Belt and Mahindra Green Belt for systematic problem solving in design and CRE projects. Knowledge of Altair Inspire tool for 1st level of FEA of engine components. Worked as Assistant Manager in Engine Design in Escorts Agri Machinery in future engines team taking care of design and development of structural components of a tractor engine including cylinder block, bedplate, structural oil sump, rear timing gear train housing, cover and adapter plate for transmission housing, design of cylinder head, design of oil systems and design of secondary balancer for 4 cylinder diesel engine. Proficient in product development from conceptualization to designing, manufacturing and testing. Proficient in GD & T and DFMEA. Prior to Escorts Agri Machinery worked for a leading gas turbine engines manufacturer in complex projects which require highest levels of engineering design knowledge ranging from detailed engineering of compressor components to the overall integrity of the components with each other and other sections of the gas turbine engine. Worked for one year at client site in Rugby, United Kingdom for Alstom Power Services coordinating work between the team of 14 members and client. Major task: To interact with the manufacturing team on regular basis and to provide the required design support along with optimization of design techniques for ongoing and future updates of a gas turbine compressor. Excellent problem solving and team management skills both technical and managerial.
