ABOUT SAHIL RANA
As a QA Software Tester with 2+ years of hands-on experience, I’m passionate about building better, more reliable software. Starting as an intern at DesignersX, I quickly moved into a junior role and now lead small QA efforts and coordinate closely with cross-functional teams. My work covers the full QA lifecycle — from requirement analysis and writing acceptance test cases to executing test cycles like Functional, Regression, UI/UX, Responsive, Mobile, Cross-Browser, and UAT. I’m also experienced in API testing using Postman and have working knowledge of Selenium with Python, JMeter, SQL, and Git. I regularly create detailed documentation including FRDs, RTMs, user flows, test plans, and bug reports. I’ve led sprint planning, reviewed QA team outputs, and mentored junior testers. I also contribute to project coordination by running daily standups, sharing task updates with management, and taking part in client walkthroughs and demos. I actively use AI tools to speed up testing processes — from writing test cases to generating mockups, Postman scripts, and landing pages. I believe in working smarter with the help of technology. I’m now looking for new QA opportunities where I can continue to grow as a tester, contribute to quality-focused teams, and bring efficiency and clarity to testing and coordination processes.
