About Sahil Pingale

With a passion for delivering exceptional guest service, I am a Front Office Team Leader at Novotel Mumbai International Airport, part of the Accor group. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration and Management from Mumbai University, where I learned the fundamentals of front office operations, communication, and customer relations.In my current role, I lead a team of front desk associates, manage night audit and crew movement, and handle room blocking and room management. I am responsible for processing reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, calculating billings, posting charges, and answering multi-line phone systems. I also greet and assist visitors and customers, provide information on amenities and policies, and build rapport and retention. Previously, I worked as a Front Desk Associate at Renaissance Mumbai/The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake and ibis Accor, Navi Mumbai, where I gained experience in handling over 100-125 check-ins and check-outs per shift, resolving issues with guest rooms, and taking reservations over phone, in person, and via computer. I started my hospitality career at The Fern Goregaon, Mumbai, where I processed documents, reported facility and room maintenance problems, and performed tasks such as unloading, counting, weighing, and sorting incoming articles. Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in guest services, hospitality industry, and communication, and I am motivated by creating memorable and satisfying experiences for guests.
