ABOUT SAHIL MALWANKER
Currently, I am an intern at Siemens (Industrial Metaverse / IMV Lab) in Munich, contributing to AI‑enhanced industrial systems that combine real-time monitoring, safe control workflows, and digital twin validation for industrial automation use cases. I work at the intersection of OT and software, building operator-friendly, AI-copilot style interaction and improving system visibility through structured data, monitoring, and analytics. I am also building hands-on capability in digital twin and simulation workflows, including NVIDIA Omniverse / Isaac Sim.Alongside this, I am pursuing an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering & IT (Automation) at Hochschule Darmstadt, Germany, strengthening my foundation in industrial automation, motion control, industrial networking, robotics, and sensor-driven systems. My long-term focus is Industry 4.0 and Industrial AI, using industrial data to enable smarter operations (e.g, anomaly/fault detection, predictive insights, and scalable industrial analytics).Previously at YASKAWA, I worked on multi-axis automation and motion control applications, industrial communication networks, HMI integration, performance optimization, and technical support across customer projects. I’m now seeking opportunities in Digital Twins, Industrial AI/ML for manufacturing, robotics simulation, and edge/IIoT analytics where I can bridge OT and modern software to deliver measurable impact.
