Research Intern working under Dr. Sivanesan Dakshanamurthy’s Lab as apart of the 2023 Summer Cancer Biology Seminar program. Joined virtual seminar sessions in relation to the development of and concepts in cancer biology. Researched the role of PPARγ in specific cancer etiology. Performed molecular modeling and docking simulations with small molecule approved FDA class drugs and PPARγ to discover immunoinformatic trends from binding affinities within allosteric and orthosteric binding sites. Utilized Autodock software alongside ChimeraX, Avogrado, Marvinview, Chemdraw, Openbabel, and pymol in investigations and simulations.
