ABOUT SAHIL BAKDE
I am an engineer with a Masterβs degree specialized in xEV Powertrains, IC engines and controls from Michigan Technological University (MTU). During my academic journey, I engaged in various hands-on & Simulation projects, including experiments on ECUs, MBD, CAN and xEV simulations and achieved a GPA of 3.70/4. My passion for sustainable transportation drives my interest in advancing innovative technologies in this field.Currently, I am a Vehicle Calibration & Test Engineer at FEV North America & Stellantis, where I use my expertise in hardware and software testing, calibration, and controls. My hands-on experience includes extensive project work in MiL/HiL testing, energy management strategies for HEVs/ FCEVs and vehicle testing as well as working with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace, INCA, CANalyzer. I also conduct my own controls projects involving simulation studies and MiL, Sil, PiL and HiL testing.Moving forward, I aspire to deepen my expertise in embedded controls and testing in automotive engineering. I aim to contribute to cutting-edge projects that enhance the efficiency and performance of hybrid and electric vehicles. My goal is to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable transportation by leveraging my technical skills and passion for greener technologies!
