As a communications and public relations professional, I\'ve built my career on the power of storytelling and strategic messaging. Currently serving as the Senior Social Media and Communications Manager, I manage communications for the University and President, lead crisis communications and oversee our chief social media platforms. I develop compelling campaigns that resonate with audiences and deliver measurable results. I take immense pride in navigating complex media landscapes, building strong relationships with stakeholders and innovating within the rapidly evolving digital sphere. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through effective communication and am passionate about education equality and environmental sustainability. Leading a campaign that significantly increased brand visibility and engagement for VCU is among my proudest achievements, validating my strategic approach and the collaborative efforts of my team. As an Adjunct Professor, I teach Social Media for Public Relations, guiding students in crafting strategies for various platforms and managing end-to-end content curation. Outside of work, I\'m an avid traveler, drawing inspiration for fresh storytelling and content strategies from my experiences. I\'m deeply committed to building a culture of continuous learning and collaboration, believing in the power of communication to drive positive change in education and beyond.
