ABOUT SAHEED ADEGBITE

As Chief Operating Officer at TRAFFIC International and a member of the senior leadership team, I oversee the global finance and operations team across management of financial resources and project portfolio, operational risk management, human resources, general administration, and information technology. Prior to joining TRAFFIC, I was Senior Director for Strategic Budgeting and Organizational Development at the United Nations’ International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for ten years. At IFAD, based in Rome, I led the Strategic Workforce Planning and Budgeting Processes that established resource allocation and strategic prioritization to achieve maximum development impact. Prior to that, I was the Senior Finance Systems and Business Process Coordinating Officer at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna, Austria where I led financial, budgetary, and human resource management policy and system matters. My 30-year career includes roles as a Management Consultant with both PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Oracle Corporation where I delivered numerous global business improvement programmes and ERP implementations for public and private sector clients. I am an Electronic Engineering graduate with postgraduate qualifications in Organizational Leadership from the University of Oxford as well as in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) of the University of London.
