Researching potential clients to introduce Layfield, identifying key contacts and sourcing new business.Conducting follow-up calls on existing customer to understand their needs and ensuring their expectations are being exceeded. Cross-selling and/or up-selling when appropriate.Reviewing multiple bid tracking sites for upcoming job tenders and submit quotes to qualified bidders.Maintaining accurate records of interactions with clients in the sales database (CRM) and provide weekly reporting as outlined by the Regional Sales Manager.Ensuring both internal and external customers are kept up to date with new & current products, services and pricing, freight quotes and estimated delivery times.Supporting marketing efforts and attending tradeshows as required.
