About Sahar Behpour
I’m a Data Scientist with over 8 years of experience, including three years at Deloitte. I hold a Ph.D. in Information Science, specializing in Data Science, from the University of North Texas (UNT). My journey began with a transition from Physics to Data Science, blending the analytical rigor of physics with cutting-edge AI algorithms. This interdisciplinary approach has enabled me to develop intelligent and adaptable AI-driven solutions for various domains, including biomedical, business, and legal fields.I am particularly passionate about developing AI and Generative AI-based models and applications that drive real-world impact. My work at Deloitte has focused on building web-based AI solutions, contributing to the development of Generative AI applications, and refining chatbot performance through prompt engineering and output validation. I enjoy exploring ways to make AI-driven systems more efficient, reliable, and accessible, ensuring they provide meaningful insights for both technical and non-technical users.Beyond my technical expertise, I have led both technical projects and functional initiatives. At Deloitte, I have led AI-driven projects, while in academia, I played a key role in organizing data science events, workshops, and networking initiatives. I served as President of the UNT Data Science Organization and Vice President of the UNT Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS & T) student chapter, experiences that have been recognized through 12 awards and scholarships, including the prestigious UNT Golden Eagle Award in 2021.Looking ahead, I am dedicating more time to coaching and content creation, aiming to share knowledge and empower professionals in AI and data science. I find beauty in the world of AI and aspire to leverage data and AI-driven solutions to solve complex challenges, ultimately making a meaningful impact.
