As the Project Manager and Lead Recruiter for the Marine Corps Lateral Entry Program, I manage all aspects of the Marine Corps Talent Acquisition Pilot (MCTAP). This program recruits experienced professionals into Cyber and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) roles across the Active and Reserve Components, allowing them to enter service at ranks up to Gunnery Sergeant (E-7) based on their civilian expertise. Applicant communication, screening, and interviews are handled directly by me. I oversee every step of the process—from initial outreach to final selection—ensuring applicants meet both technical and character standards. On the backend, I lead all coordination efforts, including interagency communication, scheduling, and onboarding logistics. In addition, I led the development and implementation of the program’s policies, operating procedures, and workflows, ensuring they align with mission needs and applicant qualifications. MCTAP has reduced a 10-year skill pipeline down to 3–6 months by streamlining identification, assessment, and integration of qualified talent.
