I lead Connecting Through Rhythm, a grassroots community impact organization, a nonprofit dedicated to reducing deaths by suicide and overdose by addressing the root causes of disconnection. We built this organization from the ground up, creating a safe, inclusive community that blends peer-led support with evidence based holistic practices.My role includes:Setting the vision and strategy for a growing nonprofit focused on mental health, recovery, trauma and community healing.Developing and facilitating innovative programs including drum circles, breathwork, music therapy, meditation, and expressive arts that reconnect people to purpose.Building partnerships, fundraising, and guiding a committed working board.Advocating for Trauma informed, peer driven approaches that reach people who fall through the cracks of traditional systems.At Connecting Through Rhythm, we believe that human connection heals.
