About Sage Wynja
I am a student at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder, studying business administration with emphases in finance and accounting, a certificate in quantitative finance, and a math minor. I have always been passionate about mathematics, and I love learning how I can apply my mathematical and analytical skills to my future chosen field. Outside of the classroom at CU Boulder, I am involved in the Leeds Investment and Trading Group, Scholars of Finance, and Beta Alpha Psi. The Leeds Investment and Trading Group is a student-managed investment fund. A select group of students has the opportunity to learn about financial modeling and valuation methods through a prerequisite analyst program, which teaches the basics of investing theory and financial modeling. Scholars of Finance is a national organization with chapters at universities across the nation dedicated to building ethical leaders in finance. It fosters a community focused on integrity and purpose, providing resources and opportunities to explore the intersection of finance and societal impact through workshops, speaker events, and mentorship programs. Beta Alpha Psi is an international honor organization for accounting, finance, and information systems students. It is a key resource for professional development, providing networking opportunities, technical training, and ethical leadership development, ultimately preparing members for successful careers in their respective fields. Besides academics, I enjoy being outside, from skiing to hiking to running. As a Colorado native, I have had many opportunities to explore this amazing state and truly enjoy living here. I\'m eager and excited to leverage my academic success, extracurricular activities, and dedication to growth to develop and continue to learn as much as possible about the finance industry.
