About Sagar Samanta
A student of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, I have gained a strong academic foundation backed by hands-on experience through various projects and internships. Currently pursuing PGDM in General Management at the International Management Institute (IMI), I am expanding my expertise to integrate technical skills with managerial acumen.Beginning from having acquired a Diploma, with Hons. in Electrical Engineering from SKDAV Govt. Polytechnic, Rourkela, coupled later on with a B.Tech degree, my academic sojourn has been guided by an unwavering commitment to excellence. I had executed the major project on \'Demand Side Management Using Peak Load Saving,\' wherein I integrated electrical and electronics knowledge to come up with innovative solutions for energy management.My professional exposures have been varied, which include interning in the fields of digital marketing, cybersecurity, and industrial automation. At Syllogistek Systems Pvt. Ltd, I carried out digital audits, SEO assessments, and content management of online platforms, whereas, in my cybersecurity internship, I was assigned a challenging project on targeting remote systems for user-level access. Further, I have completed an internship in the Maintenance Department at Larsen & Toubro (L&T) regarding transformer and DG maintenance.I have also earned a variety of skills through training and certifications in industrial automation, digital marketing, cybersecurity, and programming. It is complemented into Python, machine learning, and data science, with hands-on experience in PLC programming, SCADA, HMI, and VFD control systems.Apart from academics and internships, I have been conferred with several state-level scholarships for excellence in academics, apart from significant achievements in martial arts, sports, and drawing competitions. My leadership skills have been honed by organizing college sports events and volunteering for community initiatives supporting underprivileged and disabled children.I look forward with excitement to applying the wide range of my skills and experiences toward innovating, resolving complex problems, and working on meaningful projects within the fields of engineering management and technology.
