About Sagar Salwe
Hello, Myself Sagar Shriram Salwe presently working at Nokia as Research and Development Enginner for Physical layer LTE and 5G NR applications. I completed my PhD in Electronics Engineering from Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, Pune, with proven competence in the field of wireless communication, signal and image processing. My PhD research topic was Heterogeneous Wireless Communication Network for Coexistent Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. During my Ph.D. Research work I designed and developed the Simulink model to coexist the diversely operating Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies. Considering data transfer, optimization, and interference reduction, addressing mechanism and simulating the real-time approach through hardware in a loop by implementation on kintex FPGA board. The developed Simulink model shows the application in future applications of Device to Device (D2D), Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Internet of Things (IoT) in industrial and automation sector. During my PhD Research I surveyed several journals followed by numerical analysis and development of an algorithm to developed models on Simulink, LabVIEW, and Matlab simulation tools. The physical layer being a key component in base station product and very complex, it is extremely important to test the implementation against an established reference before they even integrate with an RF front-end or attempt to interoperate with third-party implementations of the UE side.
