Managed a team of two FTEs and eight consultants to deliver 250+ data engineering and data science projects supporting Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions & PEP Screening, ID Verification and Due Diligence across Meta’s Family of Apps - FB, IG and WA• Developed and tuned Transaction Monitoring rules for P2P and Charitable Giving products, as well as tuning the Sanctions Screening filter (CSI, LexisNexis) used for 40+ products to increase risk coverage (up to 9%) and reduce false positives (up to 5%)• Over a period of 3+ years, oversaw extensive upgrades to the compliance technology stack and tested 25+ product and feature launches working closely with PMs, TPMs, Legal, Compliance, Privacy and Product Counsels• Led several Data Governance workstreams for Meta Fintech across multiple licensed entities in US, BR, EU and IN• Managed analytics supporting examinations by Central Bank of Ireland, Brazil’s BACEN and 30+ US state regulators
