Steven leads Stantec\'s Economics Team in Scotland, overseeing its delivery of business cases; funding applications; feasibility studies; and economic research assignments for a range of public and private sector clients across the UK, including projects in the fields of economic development, infrastructure, HE/FE and housing. His recent projects have included supporting two successful applications to the UK Government Levelling Up Fund (£20 million for a new Aberdeen International Market and £15 million for a series of investments along the course of the Llangollen Canal), a successful £38 million funding application to the Strength in Places Fund for the Precision Medicine Scotland Innovation Centre at the University of Glasgow; a successful £20 million funding application to the Future High Street Fund for the Firepool site in Taunton; and economic impact assessments for the proposed Edinburgh BioQuarter development and for a proposed tourism led mixed-use development at the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in Co. Wrexham
